As per IS & Din Standards or as per Customers design & Specifications.

Material Used:

Our standard products are made from High Carbon Colled Rolled Steel to EN 9, EN 42, EN 42J, EN 47 & Copper, Aluminium, S.S.304, S.S.316 specification.

To achieve the best results from the heat treatment processes, Rainbow lay down their own Material Specifications

Carbon steels, Beryllium copper, Phosphor bronze. Hard-drawn carbon steel wire. Hard-drawn austenitic stainless steel (302S25). Heat-treatable martensitic stainless steel (420S45).

All materials are checked in the laboratory before being released for production and each batch is coded such that any circlip manufactured in the last 10 years can be related to the laboratory record.

Special Thickness:

Circlips and Rings can be manufactured and supplied in non-standard thickness subject to prior enquiry and quotation.

Heat Treatment:

We have our own Heat Treatment plant consisting of Sekar Hearth Furnace, Salt Bath Furnace. Different tests are carried out by qualified enginers to verify the heat treated products.

Finish:

Our products are supplied in various finished like Bluing, Blackening, Zinc, Copper, Nickel, Chromes & Cadmium Plating, as per the requirements of our customers.

For protection against corrosion, zinc plated finish is available as a standard extra. Passivation is a surface treatment which further improves the corrosion resistance of the plated film but because of its yellow irridescent finish may not be suitable for some decorative applications. For decorative effect a copper flash finish may be applied
